Another venue I’d love to highlight is Room 1520, an amazing 4,000-square-foot venue in the West Loop. It’s a renovated gear factory with a unique yet versatile look.
Here are the top 10 features I love about this space:
- the spacious foyer with a staircase and Italian crystal chandeliers
- the darling, built-in bar with white marble
- the airy, chic main space with even more chandeliers, high ceilings and lots of windows
- lots of sophisticated furniture included with the rental
- a wedding suite, which I heard has recently redecorated
- the rooftop with picture-perfect downtown Chicago views (great for photos)
- both round and rectangular dining tables are included with rent (go for a mix to add visual interest to the room)
- the beautiful sheer and velvet draping throughout the space to add coziness
- the choice between two styles of chairs: wooden cross back chairs for a hint of natural and rustic or crystal Chiavari for a sophisticated soiree
- the customizable LED color up-lighting throughout the space (choose amber for the most flattering)
Thanks to these amazing photographers for the above photos: Maddie Blecha, Adam Novak and Windy City Production from our previous weddings there. I would love to work there again! If you’re getting married there (lucky you!) and have any questions about adding flowers to this venue, send me a message!
