HELPFUL INFORMATION

At May Floral, we consider each wedding unique and understand that your day is a reflection of your personality and style. Collaborating with clients and pouring love and artistry into every piece we create are our true passions. To ensure clarity, we have outlined our policies and processes below. Thank you for reading!

What types of wedding flowers do you offer?
We offer bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and floral decor for your ceremony and reception. Our service includes delivery, set up and tear down of the flowers after the event. We also provide rental items related to our floral designs like vases, arches, candles, etc.

How does your pricing work?
Prices depend on your guest count, size of wedding party, delivery location(s), event timeline, season, flower varieties desired and sizes/types of designs. We typically work with floral budgets ranging from $4,000 to $10,000. Besides the flowers, our prices include a consultation, a proposal detailing your personalized designs, venue walkthrough if needed, access to our rental inventory, delivery, setup and post-event strike. We are happy to provide you with a general pricing guide to assist in determining an initial budget.

What is the process like for someone considering May Floral?
First, we set up a consultation to talk about your vision. After our meeting, a custom proposal with description of services, a mood board and prices will be sent to you. To secure your date, we sign an agreement. The proposal is a working document that we can continue to refine throughout the planning process. Six to 4 weeks before your big day, we chat again to finalize the floral plan.

How far in advance should we book with you?
If you have your venue booked and an idea of colors and style, we can chat anytime. Our clients generally book us about 6-12 months prior to the wedding date.

How can I schedule a consultation?
To find out if we’re available for your wedding date, fill out an inquiry form and we will get back to you shortly.

What can I do to prepare for our consultation?
Pinterest is a great tool to gather inspiration images for your color palette and style and gives us a head start in creating your proposal. Having a starting budget helps as well to give us a clearer picture of what floral services we can provide for you.

What are your payment terms?
A non-refundable retainer of 25% is required to secure the wedding date. This payment will be applied towards your final invoice. Because we order your flowers and supplies ahead of time, we require a final count and payment 3 weeks prior to the wedding.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept electronic and paper checks, credit cards and debit cards without any additional fees.

Can I make changes to the design proposal after we sign the contract?
Yes, we can continue to work together to plan your wedding flowers until 3 weeks before your date.

Our venue requires a certificate of insurance from vendors. Can you provide this document?
Yes. We have worked with a lot of venues that require a COI. If required, please let us know and we will email document to you or the venue.

Are you able to make a sample of what my centerpiece will look like?
Because of the seasonal nature of flowers, availability changes weekly. If you choose to invest, your sample will be similar in feel, color and scale, but floral varieties may not be the same. Samples are not automatically included in our quoted prices but can be added for an additional fee. Instead of investing in samples, we can work with inspiration photos and show images from similar weddings we’ve been a part of in the past.

Can we use our own vases?
If you would like to source your own vases, they would have to be approved with us first to ensure that their shape and size can accommodate the design style.

Can we take or give away our centerpieces at the end of the night?
The actual flowers, yes. Our quotes include rental containers that we pick up at the end of your event unless otherwise requested/quoted.

A friend/family member is going to make my centerpieces. Are you able to just make the bouquets?
At this time, we only offer full service weddings for a stress-free experience for our clients. We would never want to be credited for someone else’s work and vice-versa.

What if I have more questions?
If you have a question, we’d love to answer it. Please reach out at hello@mayfloraldesign.com.
